Utah Code Ann. § 63A-17-105 (2026).

Text

(1)There is created within the department, the Division of Human Resource Management.
(2)The division shall be administered by a director appointed by the executive director, with the approval of the governor.
(3)The director shall:
(3)(a) be a person with experience in human resource management;
(3)(b) be accountable to the executive director for the director's performance in office;
(3)(c) serve as the chief human resource officer for the state executive branch; and
(3)(d) advise the governor on human resource matters and policies.
