Text

(1)A building inspector employed by a local regulator, state regulator, or compliance agency to enforce the codes shall:
(1)(a) be currently licensed by the division as meeting the minimum qualifications the division establishes in collaboration with the commission, by rule made in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act; and
(1)(b) be subject to disciplinary or other action if the building inspector engages in unlawful or unprofessional conduct.
(2)A local regulator, state regulator, or compliance agency may contract for the services of a building inspector not regularly employed by the regulator or agency.
(3)A private home inspector shall:
