(1)(1)(a) Except as provided in Subsection (3), the division shall provide licensing under this chapter in accordance with a two-year renewal cycle established by division rule made in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.
(1)(b) The division may extend or shorten a license renewal period by as much as one year to maintain established renewal cycles or to change an established renewal cycle.
(2)Subject to Subsection (3), a license automatically expires on the expiration date shown on the license unless renewed by the licensed individual in accordance with Section 58-1-308.
(3)(3)(a) A massage apprentice license expires 24 months after the day on which the division issues the massage apprentice license.
