Text
(1)There is created the Board of Massage Therapy and Acupuncture consisting of:
(1)(a) four massage therapists;
(1)(b) two licensed acupuncturists as defined in Section 58-72-102; and
(1)(c) one member of the general public.
(2)The board shall be appointed and serve in accordance with Section 58-1-201.
(3)(3)(a) The board shall perform the duties and responsibilities described in Sections 58-1-202 and 58-1-203 with respect to this chapter and Chapter 72, Acupuncture Licensing Act.
(3)(b) In addition, the board shall designate one of its members on a permanent or rotating basis to:
(3)(b)(i) assist the division in reviewing complaints concerning the conduct of an individual licensed under this chapter or Chapter 72, Acupuncture Licensing Act; and
(3)(b)(ii) advise the division in its inv
