§ 58-11a-301 — Licensure or permit required.
Utah·Title 58 Occupations and Professions·Ch. 58-11a Cosmetology and Associated Professions Licensing Act·Part 58-11a-3 Licensing
(1)Subject to Subsection (2), a person must be licensed or permitted as required under this chapter to practice a discipline regulated by this chapter.
(2)An individual is not required to be licensed or permitted if the individual:
(2)(a) is a registered apprentice in accordance with this chapter; or
(2)(b) qualifies for an exemption under:
(2)(b)(i) Section 58-1-307; or
(2)(b)(ii) Section 58-11a-304.
