§ 54-26-501 — Large-scale generation provider requirements.

(1)A large-scale generation provider shall:
(1)(a) register with the commission before providing service to a large load customer;
(1)(b) maintain any reasonable technical and financial qualifications required by the commission;
(1)(c) provide service only through qualifying generation resources as required in this part; and
(1)(d) post security:
(1)(d)(i) as reasonably negotiated with a large load customer;
(1)(d)(ii) as required by contract with a transmission provider; or
(1)(d)(iii) as required by the commission for services to be provided by a qualified electric utility.
(2)A large-scale generation provider shall submit to the commission:
(2)(a) proof of compliance with Subsection (1);
(2)(b) proof of financial capability as reasonably negotiated with the large load customer;
