Text

(1)A degree-granting institution described in Section 53H-3-608:
(1)(a) shall:
(1)(a)(i) fulfill the technical college duties described in Subsections 53H-3-1203(1) and (2); and
(1)(a)(ii) report annually to the board on:
(1)(a)(ii)(A) the status of technical education in the degree-granting institution's service area; and
(1)(a)(ii)(B) student tuition and fees for the technical education programs provided by the degree-granting institution; and
(1)(b) may not exercise any jurisdiction over career and technical education provided by a school district or charter school independently of the school district or charter school.
(2)The board shall monitor and evaluate the impact of degree programs on technical education provided by a degree-granting institution described in Section 53H-3-608.
