Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "First responder" means an individual who works in Utah as:
(1)(a)(i) a law enforcement officer, as defined in Section 53-13-103;
(1)(a)(ii) an emergency medical technician, as defined in Section 53-2e-101;
(1)(a)(iii) an advanced emergency medical technician, as defined in Section 53-2e-101;
(1)(a)(iv) a paramedic, as defined in Section 53-2e-101;
(1)(a)(v) a firefighter, as defined in Section 53H-11-306;
(1)(a)(vi) a dispatcher, as defined in Section 53-6-102;
(1)(a)(vii) a correctional officer, as defined in Section 53-13-104;
(1)(a)(viii) a special function officer, as defined in Section 53-13-105, employed by a local sheriff;
(1)(a)(ix) a search and rescue worker under the supervision of a local sheriff;
(1)(a)(x) a forensic interviewer or victim ad
