Text

(1)There is created the Utah Education Savings Board of Trustees.
(2)The Utah Board of Higher Education shall:
(2)(a) appoint the members of the board as follows:
(2)(a)(i) not more than three members from the Utah Board of Higher Education; and
(2)(a)(ii) at least four public members, each of whom possesses skills in one or more of the following:
(2)(a)(ii)(A) investments;
(2)(a)(ii)(B) accounting;
(2)(a)(ii)(C) finance;
(2)(a)(ii)(D) banking;
(2)(a)(ii)(E) education;
(2)(a)(ii)(F) technology; or
(2)(a)(ii)(G) financial operations; and
(2)(b) designate a member appointed under Subsection (2)(a) as chair.
(3)Each board member serves at the pleasure of the Utah Board of Higher Education.
