Text
(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Distance education" means instruction offered by a means where the student and faculty member are in separate physical locations.
(1)(b) "Eligible Institution" means a degree-granting postsecondary education entity.
(1)(c) "Postsecondary education" means education or educational services offered primarily to an individual who:
(1)(c)(i) has completed or terminated the individual's secondary or high school education; or
(1)(c)(ii) is beyond the age of compulsory school attendance.
(2)The board may execute an interstate reciprocity agreement for postsecondary distance education:
(2)(a) for an eligible institution that offers a postsecondary distance education course or program; and
(2)(b) that requires an eligible institution to meet certain standards to
