(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Prohibited training" means a mandatory instructional program and related materials that an LEA requires the LEA's employees, prospective employees, students, or prospective students, to attend that promote prohibited discriminatory practices as that term is defined in Section 53H-1-504.
(1)(b) "Prohibited training" includes an in-person or online seminar, discussion group, workshop, other program, or related materials.
(2)An LEA may not require prohibited training.
(3)Nothing in this section limits or prohibits an LEA's authority to establish policies that are necessary to comply with state or federal law, including laws relating to prohibited discrimination or harassment.
