Text

(1)The person responsible for administering an educator's summative evaluation shall:
(1)(a) at least 15 days before an educator's first evaluation:
(1)(a)(i) notify the educator of the evaluation process; and
(1)(a)(ii) give the educator a copy of the evaluation instrument, if an instrument is used;
(1)(b) allow the educator to respond to any part of the evaluation;
(1)(c) attach the educator's response to the evaluation if the educator's response is provided in writing;
(1)(d) within 15 days after the evaluation process is completed, discuss the written evaluation with the educator; and
(1)(e) based upon the educator's performance, assign to the educator one of the four levels of performance described in Section 53G-11-507.
