Text
(1)The terms defined in Section 53F-2-102 apply to this section.
(2)Subject to the other requirements of this section, a local school board may levy a tax to fund the school district's general fund.
(3)(3)(a) For purposes of this Subsection (3), "combined rate" means the sum of:
(3)(a)(i) the rate imposed by a local school board under Subsection (2); and
(3)(a)(ii) the charter school levy rate, described in Section 53F-2-703, for the local school board's school district.
(3)(b) Beginning on January 1, 2018, a school district's combined rate may not exceed .0025 per dollar of taxable value in any calendar year.
(4)In addition to the revenue a school district collects from the imposition of a levy pursuant to this section, the state shall contribute an amount as described in Section 53F
