Text

(1)The Carson Smith Scholarship Program is created to award scholarships to students with disabilities to attend a private school.
(2)To qualify for a scholarship:
(2)(a) the student's custodial parent shall reside within Utah;
(2)(b) the student shall have one or more of the following disabilities:
(2)(b)(i) an intellectual disability;
(2)(b)(ii) deafness or being hard of hearing;
(2)(b)(iii) a speech or language impairment;
(2)(b)(iv) a visual impairment;
(2)(b)(v) a serious emotional disturbance;
(2)(b)(vi) an orthopedic impairment;
(2)(b)(vii) autism;
(2)(b)(viii) traumatic brain injury;
(2)(b)(ix) other health impairment;
(2)(b)(x) specific learning disabilities;
(2)(b)(xi) deafblindness; or
(2)(b)(xii) a developmental delay, provided the student is at least three years old, as desc
