§ 53F-2-520 — Rural school transportation reimbursement.
Utah·Title 53F Public Education System -- Funding·Ch. 53F-2 State Funding -- Minimum School Program·Part 53F-2-5 Related to Basic Program -- Grant Programs
(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Eligible LEA" means a school district or a charter school:
(1)(a)(i) that is located in a county of the fourth, fifth, or sixth class, as classified under Section 17-60-104; and
(1)(a)(ii) in which:
(1)(a)(ii)(A) for a fiscal year other than fiscal year 2021 or 2022, at least 65% of the students enrolled in the school district or charter school qualify for free or reduced price lunch; or
(1)(a)(ii)(B) for fiscal year 2021 or 2022, at least 65% of the students enrolled in the school district or charter school qualified for free or reduced price lunch in fiscal year 2019.
(1)(b) "Eligible school" means a school:
(1)(b)(i) in an eligible LEA; and
(1)(b)(ii) that the eligible LEA has provided transportation to and from for a regular school day for students
