§ 53F-2-506 — Beverley Taylor Sorenson Elementary Arts Learning Program.

Utah·Title 53F Public Education System -- Funding·Ch. 53F-2 State Funding -- Minimum School Program·Part 53F-2-5 Related to Basic Program -- Grant Programs
(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Endowed chair" means a person who holds an endowed position or administrator of an endowed program for the purpose of arts and integrated arts instruction at an endowed university.
(1)(b) "Endowed university" means an institution of higher education in the state that:
(1)(b)(i) awards elementary education degrees in arts instruction;
(1)(b)(ii) has received a major philanthropic donation for the purpose of arts and integrated arts instruction; and
(1)(b)(iii) has created an endowed position as a result of a donation described in Subsection (1)(b)(ii).
(1)(c) "Integrated arts advocate" means a person who:
(1)(c)(i) advocates for arts and integrated arts instruction in the state; and
(1)(c)(ii) coordinates with an endowed chair pursuant to the agreement c
