Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Local law enforcement agency" means the law enforcement agency with primary jurisdiction over a school's physical location.
(1)(b) "School safety needs assessment" means the assessment required under Section 53G-8-701.5.
(1)(c) "Security camera system" means the system described in Section 53G-8-805.
(2)Each local law enforcement agency shall:
(2)(a) as coordinated with the county security chief described in Section 53-22-103, allocate adequate personnel to participate in the school safety needs assessments with a school's school safety and security specialist as required by Section 53G-8-701.5 for each school within the local law enforcement's jurisdiction;
