Utah Code Ann. § 53-11-107 (2026).
Text
(1)Licenses under this chapter are issued in the classifications of:
(1)(a) bail enforcement agent;
(1)(b) bail recovery agent; or
(1)(c) bail recovery apprentice.
(2)A person may not:
(2)(a) act or assume to act as, or claim to be, a licensee unless the person is licensed under this chapter; or
(2)(b) falsely represent that the person is employed by a licensee.
(3)The commissioner shall issue licenses to applicants who qualify for them under this chapter.
(4)A license issued under this chapter is not transferable or assignable.
