Text

A monthly disability benefit is not payable for a total disability proximately caused by:

(1)self-inflicted injury;
(2)abuse or misuse of any substance, including alcohol;
(3)illicit drug use;
(4)an act of aggression committed by the eligible employee; or
(5)the eligible employee's commission or attempted commission of a felony or other illegal act.
