Utah Code Ann. § 40-6-11 (2026).

Text

(1)At a hearing or investigation conducted by the board, the board may:
(1)(a) summon witnesses;
(1)(b) administer oaths; and
(1)(c) require the production of records, books, and documents for examination.
(2)(2)(a) If a person fails or refuses to comply with a subpoena issued by the board, or fails or refuses to testify about any matter, the board may apply to a district court in the state for an order compelling that person to:
(2)(a)(i) comply with the subpoena;
(2)(a)(ii) attend before the board;
(2)(a)(iii) produce the subpoenaed records, books, and documents for examination; and
(2)(a)(iv) give the person's testimony.
(2)(b) The court may punish the person for contempt as if the person disobeyed a subpoena issued by the court, or if the person refused to testify in a court.
