§ 40-2-103 — Scope and administration of chapter.

Utah·Title 40 Mines and Mining·Ch. 40-2 Coal Mine Safety Act·Part 40-2-1 General Provisions

(1)This chapter applies to any coal mine located in the state.

(2)The commission:

(2)(a) shall administer this chapter with the assistance of the office; and

(2)(b) has jurisdiction over a coal mine in this state as set forth in this chapter.
