Text

(1)Each medical cannabis pharmacy shall maintain the pharmacy's medical cannabis treatment recommendation files and other records in accordance with this chapter, department rules, and the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1936, as amended.
(2)(2)(a) The department may inspect the records, facility, and inventory of a medical cannabis pharmacy at any time during business hours in order to determine if the medical cannabis pharmacy complies with this chapter.
(2)(b) The Department of Health and Human Services may inspect patient records held by a medical cannabis pharmacy:
