Text
(1)The commission is exempt from:
(1)(a) Title 51, Chapter 5, Funds Consolidation Act;
(1)(b) Title 51, Chapter 7, State Money Management Act;
(1)(c) Title 63A, Utah Government Operations Code;
(1)(d) Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code, but the commission shall adopt procedures to ensure that the commission makes purchases:
(1)(d)(i) in a manner that provides for fair competition between providers; and
(1)(d)(ii) at competitive prices;
(1)(e) Title 63J, Chapter 1, Budgetary Procedures Act; and
(1)(f) Title 63A, Chapter 17, Utah State Personnel Management Act.
(2)The commission is subject to:
(2)(a) Title 52, Chapter 4, Open and Public Meetings Act;
(2)(b) Section 67-3-12; and
(2)(c) Title 63G, Chapter 2, Government Records Access and Management Act.
