(1)The Legislative Management Committee shall establish a medical cannabis governance structure working group composed of six members of the Legislature.

(2)The working group may:

(2)(a) work with industry, patients, medical providers, and others to review the state's governance structure over medical cannabis;

(2)(b) study various regulatory structures throughout the nation regarding state agency regulation of medical cannabis; and

(2)(c) make recommendations to the Health and Human Services Interim Committee or the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Interim Committee regarding medical cannabis governance before or at the October interim meeting.
