Text
(1)The department shall annually prepare an intergenerational poverty report for inclusion in the department's annual written report described in Section 35A-1-109.
(2)The intergenerational poverty report shall:
(2)(a) report on the data, findings, and potential uses of the intergenerational poverty tracking system described in Section 35A-9-201;
(2)(b) describe policies, procedures, and programs that the department has implemented or modified to help break the cycle of poverty and end welfare dependency for children in the state affected by intergenerational poverty;
(2)(c) contain recommendations to the Legislature on how to address issues relating to breaking the cycle of poverty and ending welfare dependency for children in the state affected by intergenerational poverty; and
