§ 34A-2-111 — Managed health care programs -- Other safety programs.

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) (1)(a)(i) "Health care provider" means a person who furnishes treatment or care to persons who have suffered bodily injury.
(1)(a)(ii) "Health care provider" includes:
(1)(a)(ii)(A) a hospital;
(1)(a)(ii)(B) a clinic;
(1)(a)(ii)(C) an emergency care center;
(1)(a)(ii)(D) a physician;
(1)(a)(ii)(E) a nurse;
(1)(a)(ii)(F) a nurse practitioner;
(1)(a)(ii)(G) a physician's assistant;
(1)(a)(ii)(H) a paramedic; or
(1)(a)(ii)(I) an emergency medical technician.
(1)(b) "Physician" means any health care provider licensed under:
(1)(b)(i) Title 58, Chapter 5a, Podiatric Physician Licensing Act;
(1)(b)(ii) Title 58, Chapter 24b, Physical Therapy Practice Act;
(1)(b)(iii) Title 58, Chapter 67, Utah Medical Practice Act;
(1)(b)(iv) Title 58, Chapter 68, Utah Osteo
