Text

(1)A person may not conduct an insurance business in Utah in person, through an agent, through a broker, through the mail, or through another method of communication, except:
(1)(a) an insurer:
(1)(a)(i) authorized to do business in Utah under:
(1)(a)(i)(A) Chapter 5, Domestic Stock and Mutual Insurance Corporations;
(1)(a)(i)(B) Chapter 7, Nonprofit Health Service Insurance Corporations;
(1)(a)(i)(C) Chapter 8, Health Maintenance Organizations and Limited Health Plans;
(1)(a)(i)(D) Chapter 9, Insurance Fraternals;
(1)(a)(i)(E) Chapter 10, Annuities;
(1)(a)(i)(F) Chapter 11, Motor Clubs;
(1)(a)(i)(G) Chapter 14, Foreign Insurers;
(1)(a)(i)(H) Chapter 37, Captive Insurance Companies Act; or
(1)(a)(i)(I) Chapter 37a, Special Purpose Financial Captive Insurance Company Act; and
(1)(a)(ii)
