§ 31A-27a-611 — Qualified financial contracts.

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) (1)(a)(i) "Actual direct compensatory damages" does not include:
(1)(a)(i)(A) punitive or exemplary damages;
(1)(a)(i)(B) damages for lost profit or lost opportunity; or
(1)(a)(i)(C) damages for pain and suffering.
(1)(a)(ii) "Actual direct compensatory damages" includes:
(1)(a)(ii)(A) normal and reasonable costs of cover; or
(1)(a)(ii)(B) other reasonable measures of damages used in the derivatives, securities, or other market for the contract or agreement claim.
(1)(b) "Business day" means a day other than:
(1)(b)(i) a Saturday;
(1)(b)(ii) a Sunday; or
(1)(b)(iii) day on which either the New York Stock Exchange or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is closed.
(1)(c) "Contractual right" includes:
(1)(c)(i) a right set forth:
(1)(c)(i)(A) in a rule
