§ 31A-27a-117 — Records.

(1)(1)(a) Upon entry of an order of rehabilitation or liquidation, the receiver is vested with title to all of the records of the insurer:
(1)(a)(i) of whatever nature;
(1)(a)(ii) in whatever medium;
(1)(a)(iii) wherever located; and
(1)(a)(iv) regardless of whether the item is in the custody and control of:
(1)(a)(iv)(A) a third party administrator;
(1)(a)(iv)(B) a managing general agent;
(1)(a)(iv)(C) an attorney; or
(1)(a)(iv)(D) other representatives of the insurer.
(1)(b) The receiver may immediately take possession and control of:
(1)(b)(i) all of the records of the insurer; and
(1)(b)(ii) the premises where the records are located.
