§ 31A-27a-104 — Persons covered.

Utah·Title 31A Insurance Code·Ch. 31A-27a Insurer Receivership Act·Part 31A-27a-1 General Provisions
(1)This chapter applies to:
(1)(a) an insurer who:
(1)(a)(i) is doing, or has done, an insurance business in this state; and
(1)(a)(ii) against whom a claim arising from that business may exist;
(1)(b) a person subject to examination by the commissioner;
(1)(c) an insurer who purports to do an insurance business in this state;
(1)(d) an insurer who has an insured who is resident in this state; and
(1)(e) in addition to Subsections (1)(a) through (d), a person doing business as follows:
(1)(e)(i) under Chapter 6a, Service Contracts;
(1)(e)(ii) under Chapter 7, Nonprofit Health Service Insurance Corporations;
(1)(e)(iii) under Chapter 8a, Health Discount Program Consumer Protection Act;
(1)(e)(iv) under Chapter 9, Insurance Fraternals;
(1)(e)(v) under Chapter 11, Motor Clubs;
(1)(e)(vi) un
