(1)(1)(a) The commissioner may issue a temporary individual or agency license:
(1)(a)(i) to a person listed in Subsection (1)(b):
(1)(a)(i)(A) if the commissioner considers that the temporary license is necessary:
(1)(a)(i)(A)(I) for the servicing of an insurance business in the public interest; and
(1)(a)(i)(A)(II) to provide continued service to the insureds who procured insurance in a circumstance described in Subsection (1)(b);
(1)(a)(i)(B) for a period not to exceed 180 days; and
(1)(a)(i)(C) without requiring an examination; or
(1)(a)(ii) in any other circumstance:
(1)(a)(ii)(A) if the commissioner considers the public interest will best be served by issuing the temporary license;
(1)(a)(ii)(B) for a period not to exceed 180 days; and
(1)(a)(ii)(C) without requiring an examination
