Text

(1)Except as otherwise provided in this section, a group health benefit plan for a plan sponsor is renewable and continues in force:
(1)(a) with respect to all eligible employees and dependents; and
(1)(b) at the option of the plan sponsor.
(2)A group health benefit plan for a plan sponsor may be discontinued or nonrenewed:
(2)(a) for noncompliance with the insurer's employer contribution requirements;
(2)(b) if there is no longer any enrollee under the group health benefit plan who lives, resides, or works in:
(2)(b)(i) the service area of the insurer; or
(2)(b)(ii) the area for which the insurer is authorized to do business;
(2)(c) for coverage made available in the small or large employer market only through an association, if:
(2)(c)(i) the employer's membership in the association
