(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Compact" means the Compact for Interstate Sharing of Putative Father Registry Information created in Section 81-13-106, effective on May 10, 2016.
(1)(b) "Putative father":
(1)(b)(i) means the same as that term is as defined in Section 81-13-106; and
(1)(b)(ii) includes an unmarried biological father.
(1)(c) "State registrar" means the state registrar of vital records appointed under Subsection (2)(e).
(1)(d) "Unmarried biological father" means the same as that term is defined in Section 81-13-101.

(2)(a) provide offices properly equipped for the preservation of vital records made or received under this part;
(2)(b) establish a statewide vital records system for the registration, collection, preservation, amendment, and certifi
