§ 26B-7-105 — Cytomegalovirus (CMV) public education and testing.

(1)As used in this section "CMV" means cytomegalovirus.
(2)The department shall establish and conduct a public education program to inform pregnant women and women who may become pregnant regarding:
(2)(a) the incidence of CMV;
(2)(b) the transmission of CMV to pregnant women and women who may become pregnant;
(2)(c) birth defects caused by congenital CMV;
(2)(d) methods of diagnosing congenital CMV; and
(2)(e) available preventative measures.
(3)The department shall provide the information described in Subsection (2) to:
(3)(a) child care programs licensed under Chapter 2, Part 4, Child Care Licensing, and their employees;
(3)(b) a person described in Subsection 26B-2-405(1)(a)(iii) and Subsections 26B-2-405(2)(a), (b), (c), (e), and (f);
(3)(c) a person serving as a school nurse und
