Text

(1)As used in this section, "committee" means the Legislative Policy Committee created in Subsection (2).
(2)Under the commission, there is created the Legislative Policy Committee.
(3)(3)(a) The committee is composed of five legislators, appointed as follows:
(3)(a)(i) the speaker of the House of Representatives shall appoint one member of the House of Representatives;
(3)(a)(ii) the minority leader of the House of Representatives shall appoint one member of the House of Representatives;
(3)(a)(iii) the president of the Senate shall appoint one member of the Senate;
(3)(a)(iv) the minority leader of the Senate shall appoint one member of the Senate; and
(3)(a)(v) the speaker of the House of Representatives and the president of the Senate shall jointly appoint one legislator.
