Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Certified peer support specialist" means the same as that term is defined in Section 26B-5-610.
(1)(b) "Committee" means the Behavioral Health Crisis Response Committee established in Section 63C-18-202.
(1)(c) "Mobile crisis outreach team" means the same as that term is defined in Section 26B-5-609.
(1)(d) "Virtual crisis outreach program" means a program that provides the following real-time services 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and every day of the year:
(1)(d)(i) crisis support, by a qualified mental or behavioral health professional, to law enforcement officers; and
(1)(d)(ii) peer support services, by a certified peer support specialist, to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
