§ 26B-5-102 — Division of Integrated Healthcare -- Office of Substance Use and Mental Health -- Creation -- Responsibilities.

(1)(1)(a) The Division of Integrated Healthcare shall exercise responsibility over the policymaking functions, regulatory and enforcement powers, rights, duties, and responsibilities outlined in state law that were previously vested in the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health within the department, under the administration and general supervision of the executive director.
(1)(b) The division is the substance abuse authority and the mental health authority for this state.
(1)(c) There is created the Office of Substance Use and Mental Health within the division.
(1)(d) The office shall exercise the responsibilities, powers, rights, duties, and responsibilities assigned to the office by the executive director.
