Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Eligible professional" means a geriatric professional or a health care professional who is eligible to participate in the program.
(1)(b) "Geriatric professional" means a person who:
(1)(b)(i) is a licensed:
(1)(b)(i)(A) health care professional;
(1)(b)(i)(B) social worker;
(1)(b)(i)(C) occupational therapist;
(1)(b)(i)(D) pharmacist;
(1)(b)(i)(E) physical therapist; or
(1)(b)(i)(F) psychologist; and
(1)(b)(ii) is determined by the department to have adequate advanced training in geriatrics to prepare the person to provide specialized geriatric care within the scope of the person's profession.
(1)(c) "Health care professional" means:
(1)(c)(i) a licensed:
(1)(c)(i)(A) physician;
(1)(c)(i)(B) physician assistant;
(1)(c)(i)(C) nurse;
(1)(c)(i)(D) dentist;
