§ 26B-2-226 — Information regarding certain health care facility charges.

Utah·Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code·Ch. 26B-2 Licensing and Certifications·Part 26B-2-2 Health Care Facility Licensing and Inspection

A health care facility licensed under this part shall, when requested by a consumer:

(1)make a list of prices charged by the facility available for the consumer that includes the facility's:
(1)(a) in-patient procedures;
(1)(b) out-patient procedures;
(1)(c) the 50 most commonly prescribed drugs in the facility;
(1)(d) imaging services; and
(1)(e) implants; and
(2)provide the consumer with information regarding any discounts the facility provides for:
(2)(a) charges for services not covered by insurance; or
(2)(b) prompt payment of billed charges.
