Text

(1)A private fish pond is not required to obtain a certificate of registration from the division to receive fish from an aquaculture facility if:
(1)(a) the pond is properly screened as provided in Subsection (3)(c); and
(1)(b) the fish species being stocked is authorized by this chapter or rules of the Wildlife Board made in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.
(2)(2)(a) Except as provided in Subsection (2)(b), a private fish pond or a short-term fishing event may not be developed or held on:
(2)(a)(i) a natural lake;
(2)(a)(ii) a natural flowing stream; or
(2)(a)(iii) a reservoir constructed on a natural stream channel.
