Text

(1)A public transit district shall comply with the applicable provisions of Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code.
(2)If construction of a district facility or work exceeds $750,000, the construction shall be let as provided in:
(2)(a) Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code; and
(2)(b) Section 17B-2a-818.5.
(3)(3)(a) In addition to the requirements of Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code, before beginning a procurement process for a passenger railcar or 10 or more passenger buses for a zero emissions project, a large public transit district shall complete a request for information in accordance with Section 63G-6a-409 to compare the costs for different types of available zero emissions propulsion systems for the passenger railcar or passenger buses.
