Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Feasibility consultant" means a person with expertise in:
(1)(a)(i) the processes and economics of local government; and
(1)(a)(ii) the economics of providing fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services or law enforcement service.
(1)(b) "Feasibility study" means a study to determine the functional and financial feasibility of a municipality's withdrawal from a first responder special district.
(1)(c) "First responder district" means a special district, other than a municipal services district, that provides:
(1)(c)(i) fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services; or
(1)(c)(ii) law enforcement service.
(1)(d) "Withdrawing municipality" means a municipality whose legislative body has adopted a resolution under Subsection 17B-1-505(3)(a) to
