§ 17B-1-202 — Special district may be created -- Services that may be provided -- Limitations.

Utah·Title 17B Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Special Districts·Ch. 17B-1 Provisions Applicable to All Special Districts·Part 17B-1-2 Creation of a Special District
(1)(1)(a) A special district may be created as provided in this part to provide within its boundaries service consisting of:
(1)(a)(i) the operation of an airport;
(1)(a)(ii) the operation of a cemetery;
(1)(a)(iii) fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services, including consolidated 911 and emergency dispatch services;
(1)(a)(iv) garbage collection and disposal;
(1)(a)(v) health care, including health department or hospital service;
(1)(a)(vi) the operation of a library;
(1)(a)(vii) abatement or control of mosquitos and other insects;
(1)(a)(viii) the operation of parks or recreation facilities or services;
(1)(a)(ix) the operation of a sewage system;
(1)(a)(x) the operation of a propane system;
(1)(a)(xi) the construction and maintenance of a right-of-way, including:
(1)(a)(xi)(A)
