§ 17B-1-113 — Liability insurance.
Utah·Title 17B Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Special Districts·Ch. 17B-1 Provisions Applicable to All Special Districts·Part 17B-1-1 General Provisions
(1)Each special district with an annual operating budget of $50,000 or more shall obtain liability insurance as considered appropriate by the special district board.
(2)Each special district with an annual operating budget of less than $50,000 is not required to obtain liability insurance, but liability insurance is encouraged, as considered appropriate by the special district board.
