§ 17-79-702 — Planning commission preparation and recommendation of subdivision ordinance -- Adoption or rejection by legislative body.
Utah·Title 17 Counties·Ch. 17-79 County Land Use, Development, and Management Act·Part 17-79-7 Subdivisions
(1)A county planning commission established as required by Section 17-79-301 shall:
(1)(a) review and provide a recommendation to the legislative body on any proposed ordinance that regulates the subdivision of land in the county;
(1)(b) review and make a recommendation to the legislative body on any proposed ordinance that amends the regulation of the subdivision of the unincorporated land in the county or, in the case of a mountainous planning district, the mountainous planning district;
(1)(c) provide notice consistent with Section 17-79-205; and
(1)(d) hold a public hearing on the proposed ordinance before making the planning commission's final recommendation to the legislative body.
