Text

(1)A county legislative body may, separately or in conjunction with one or more other counties, establish a local mental health advisory council.
(2)If a county legislative body establishes a local mental health advisory council, the local mental health advisory council shall comply with this section.
(3)(3)(a) Local mental health advisory council members shall be appointed by their respective county legislative bodies.
(3)(b) Initial appointment of the members of the local mental health advisory council shall be:
(3)(b)(i) one-fourth for one year;
(3)(b)(ii) one-fourth for two years;
(3)(b)(iii) one-fourth for three years; and
(3)(b)(iv) one-fourth for four years.
