Text
(1)(1)(a) A member, in performing the member's duties, may administer oaths and subpoena witnesses and documents.
(1)(b) If an individual refuses to comply or fails to comply with a subpoena issued by a member, the district court may, at the member's request, compel the individual to comply with the subpoena.
(2)A witness in a proceeding before a commission:
(2)(a) is subject to all the rights, privileges, duties, and penalties of witnesses in courts of record; and
(2)(b) shall receive a witness fee from the commission, equivalent to those paid in a court of record.
