Text
(1)All instruments of record and all indexes required by this chapter are open to public inspection during office hours, except:
(1)(a) instruments classified as private under Section 63G-2-302;
(1)(b) military records described in Section 17-71-503; and
(1)(c) instruments with respect to which a redaction of personal information has occurred under Section 17-71-406, if the redacted copy of the instrument is open to public inspection during office hours.
(2)Upon payment of the applicable fee, a person may obtain copies of a public record.
(3)(3)(a) The county recorder may make and furnish certified copies of any of the records in the office to an individual who pays the applicable fees.
