Text
(1)An individual filing a declaration of candidacy for a county officer enumerated in Section 17-66-102 or any other county elected official established by law shall:
(1)(a) be a United States citizen;
(1)(b) except as provided in Section 20A-1-509.2 with respect to the office of county attorney or district attorney, as of the date of the election, have been a resident for at least one year of the county, district, precinct, or prosecution district in which the individual seeks office;
(1)(c) be a registered voter in the county, district, precinct, or prosecution district in which the individual seeks office; and
(1)(d) if the individual is filing a declaration of candidacy for the office of county auditor in a county of the first class, meet the qualifications described in Section 17-69-
