Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Fiscal emergency" means a major disruption in county operations or services caused by the unforeseen and sudden significant decrease or elimination of funding from the United States government or Legislature that was appropriated in the county's current budget.
(1)(b) "Natural disaster" means widespread damage within a county caused by:
(1)(b)(i) an explosion;
(1)(b)(ii) fire;
(1)(b)(iii) a flood;
(1)(b)(iv) a storm;
(1)(b)(v) a tornado;
(1)(b)(vi) winds;
(1)(b)(vii) an earthquake;
(1)(b)(viii) lightning; or
(1)(b)(ix) any other adverse weather event.
